Rules for Islanders:

You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years or over due to the nature of the program. We ask that your AV not look older than 30 (thirty) years of age.

All islanders must be single in SL. We are only looking for islanders that are serious about finding a true connection with someone in hopes of finding love.

You must be exclusively available to participate in the program for a minimum of 3 (three) consecutive weeks for production. Providing you make it to the finale'.

We ask that you spend a minimum of 2-3 (two-three) hours a day in the villa. This will only help to ensure real connections, and to be a part of the full Maui Love Island experience. The villa will be open 24 hours a day to the Islanders and we do encourage you to spend as much time in the villa as you possibly can. *Your attendance will be recorded.*

When you are in the villa we ask that you stay /in/ the villa area. Going outside the villa will only take place when allowed by the Maui Love Island event crew. You will receive a "text message" (PM) to know when these events are about to happen. You will also receive your own Maui Love Island phone! Selfies will be allowed in the villa on the Flickr Channel.

We ask that you refrain from announcing you have been cast as an Islander until /after/ you enter the villa. You may tell your family and friends you have applied and maybe leaving home for up to 3 weeks.

If your friends and/or family want to keep in close contact tell them to watch the updates and live feeds on Discord.

The show will be in text only. No voice is required.

You must type or roleplay in *local chat only*.

Any drama that occurs in the villa must be resolved by the Islanders. If something out of your control, we will take care of it promptly.

We ask that any intimacies performed in the villa to be kept discrete. We understand while falling in love things will happen. However, keep in mind it will be broadcasted in SecondLife, Discord, Facebook, Youtube, and Flickr...

No faceleaking (real info images etc.) and please try to refrain from any personal information outside of SL. (basics only - jobs, location)

Once you enter the villa you will be recorded in local chat and be on camera at any given moment. It may depend upon our logged-in time to be able to live feed.

We ask that you not to watch any of the live feeds, and/or comments in our channels or groups once in the villa. We'd like to try to keep social media and the villa separate. Unless we implement them in our competitions during the game.

You will agree to give us permission to any rights of any videos, pictures, and/or post including the use of your AV name and username to promote the Maui Love Island experience. You will also have to agree to be on live feed video including all marketing concepts.

If you decide to withdraw yourself from the game, the recorded information obtained is owned by Maui Love Island and could be used without written permission.

Rules for Discord, Facebook & SecondLife Groups, and Channels:

We ask that you be kind and courteous of all members. Do not attack or harass people on any channel.

No spamming of any kind unless you are a sponsor or contributor to Maui Love Island.

We ask that you refrain from announcing you have been cast as an Islander until /after/ you enter the villa.

*Failure to follow these rules could result in the ejection of the individual.

*All rules are subject to change at the Maui Love Island team's discretion.

* As the subject of time changes do come to mind, we will do our best to schedule events at a time that would be available to all. We know this can be impossible at times, but we are trying our best to include every member of SecondLife. Most events will be in the US timeline.
